Rock mechanics is the study of the mechanical behaviour of rocks and their response to the stress fields of their physical environment. Our Engineering Geology section can provide a comprehensive evaluation of rock masses which enables the assessment of excavation characteristics, stability of slopes and the effect of the rock mass on structures.
