Drilling Over Water
The development and implementation of an effective and cost efficient site investigation and mapping program is the cornerstone of developing an understanding of the geotechnical conditions and parameters at your site.
Soil Surveys has a wide range of experience in using our drilling rigs over water. Two of our rigs can be removed from their trucks and used on barges, ideal for use in waterways where access for a smaller barge may only be possible. For larger waterways where water depth or wave action may have a more significant impact on the drilling, the use of larger barges where the rigs do not need to be dismounted, are also an option that we have adopted in the past.
